After an intensive year of full-time study, internships are a key piece in consolidating theory and practice for students in PACE programs. Our Project Management students finish up their four-week internships on Friday, May 10.

Many thanks to Credit Union Central of Manitoba and Amie Warkentin, Director, Strategy & Projects, for hosting PM student Yomi Oduwobi, Ph.D. during his placement. Oluyomi's internship gave him experience here in Winnipeg, but also offered him the unique chance to make national connections.

"Though his internship with Credit Union Central of Manitoba, Oluyomi had the opportunity to work at the National Conference for Credit Unions that was hosted in Winnipeg this week," says Amie. "His hard work at the conference earned him a seat at the table with credit union executives at the National Credit Union Awards on Tuesday evening."
